SECOND YEARS CURRENT PROJECT: The robots are coming anyway!

What if scientists learn from robot art?

What if artists do robot science?

What if a philosopher talks to a robot scientist?

What if six interdisciplinary art students dive into the field of robotics?

Then - what is the question?

We did the research, now it is time to show the results… to the experts. You as our audience are invited to see what happens. We introduce Martijntje Smits, philosopher of technology at Utrecht Universtity and Emilia Barakova, Head of Robotics Lab at the TU/Eindhoven, who will reflect on the topics we raise.

An evening where art meets science and robots meet humans, students make statements, ask questions, keep reflecting. It is the end of a nine week research into the edges of the robotic field – sharing with you the topics of design, empathy, playfulness, fear and hope. It is the start of a discussion about how we deal with the changing world around us. Because the robots are coming – anyway.
